Semi fermented teas, Oolong teas lie between the fully fermented black tea and unfermented green tea. A great place to start if you are unfamiliar with green tea, but delicious in their own right.

China Oolong
Oolong teas are relatively recent to China. Classic Oolongs are produced by throwing the harvested leaf into a very hot wok before allowing the leaf to further oxidise and then fried once again.

Formosa Oolong
Nearly all teas from the former Formosa – now Taiwan, are Oolongs. This lightly fermented, almost green oolong has a golden infusion and a delicate aroma.
